A special night disco aimed at college and tertiary students is being held at the rink this Saturday night June 27 from 7.30 to 10pm. There will be prizes for the best theme costume. Organised by speed skater Antony Hazelwood as an Institute of Sport course project, the event will raise funds for our club so please support it by promoting it to college and tertiary students you know. They will have a great night and our club will benefit…that means you will benefit as fundraising keeps the costs you are charged for rink fees and patch fees down. Club members will pay $5 to get in and non-club members $6.00, Skates free, blades $3.00.
Start looking out for costume ideas!!!! This special night will be held on July 25 from 7.30pm to 10pm as a fundraiser for International travel support. The theme allows your imagination to run wild – dress in gangster gear or come blinged to the max. Best dressed club member will win a great prize and best dressed non-club member will win six months free skating at public sessions. Entry is $6 for non-club members and $5 for club members.
