Hire the Rink

CakeThe rink, an indoor facility, is available to hire out during School hours, the mornings of the Term School Holidays and most Saturday evenings, with the start time on a Saturday being at 6.30 pm, for up to a 2 hour period. Great idea, for an evening out for, Youth Groups, a child’s birthday party, a venue for a fundraising by way of skating, etc. It is close to Upper Hutt Rail Station, Maidstone Park, and H2O Xtreme (swimming pool).Check YAHOO CALENDAR to see if required date and time is available. Included in the price is the use of the Club’s skates and blades.

 

DURING THE SESSION:

  • Music is played
  • Games, where everyone, is encouraged to join in.
  • Inline Hockey. Depending on numbers this can be arranged on the day.
  • Off the main rink we can arrange for the ramps to be in use.
  • If required the sweet shop can be opened

BOOKING:

These MUST be made at least 2 weeks from the date required, however a booking can be made at anytime during the year. As the rink is in high demand it is recommended that you have an alternative time and date. To avoid disappointment, book early.

 

TIME:

Term School Holiday: You may book only for a 2 hour period not starting before 9.00 am and must be finished by 12.30 pm, Monday – Friday only.

 

Saturday: You may book only for a 2 hour period starting at 6.30 pm

 

Please Note: All groups, including birthday groups, are to be off the rink by the finishing time, return any skates/blades and to vacate the rink within 15 minutes of the finishing time.

 

COST:

Minimum cost is $150.00. This will allow up to 25 skaters and includes skate/blade hire. Above this number the cost is $6 per skater.

 

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to be paid within two (2) weeks at the time of the booking. A receipt will be sent to confirm booking
